ACLS for NYGH Staff & Physicians

Staff & Physicians affiliated with NYGH may qualify for funding throught the Professional Practice Office and the "ed" fund. See below for criteria

Funding Options for NYGH Staff and Physicians

Funding Criteria

Direct Funding Application Criteria - Applicants must meet ALL criteria below

1.    NYGH staff:

                Full-time regular staff for at least 1(one) year or Part -time regular staff for at least 2 (two) years 

OR  NYGH Physician 

                Active staff with at least 1(one) year at NYGH    

 

2.    Employed in one of the following departments:

  • Emergency

  • Critical Care

  • Telemetry

  • NICU

  • PACU

  • Respiratory Therapy
     

3.    Registered for an ACLS course organized by NYGH Conference Services

If you meet all 3 criteria as described above:

  1. Register for the ACLS course using the Direct Funding ACLS Registration Form (no payment required).An email will be sent to you containing a PDF file of your registration confirmation.

  2. Apply for direct funding through the Education Development Fund ("ed" Fund) at www.nygh.on.ca/ed   You will need to upload the PDF registration confirmation that you receive as part of your online funding application.

"ED" Fund Reimbursment Application

If you don't meet 1 or more of the eligibility criterion described above:

  1. Register and pay for the ACLS course through using the Self-Pay ACLS Registration Form 

  2. An email will be sent to you containing a PDF of your registration confirmation. The official receipt will be sent within 2 business days.

  3. Apply for funding consideration through the Education Development Fund ("ed" Fund) at www.nygh.on.ca/ed using a Professional Development Fund application. You will need to upload the PDF registration confirmation and your official receipt to your online funding application
